The owners at Sunrise Ridge Waterfront Resort tend to use much of their ownership here in Parksville and don’t exchange as much as owners at other resorts.  They may not know what they’re missing!  Taking a couple of minutes to do a quick search of what’s available around the world is entertaining and may open your mind to something new. I didn’t count the possibilities, but there are lots!  By selecting one of the many locations, you’re shown what’s available in each location and the number of points required.  Here’s an example that could be attractive for someone wanting to stay inside British Columbia for an easy getaway week.  And friends and family can come with you because this fully furnished 2 bedroom residence sleeps 6.

Delta Grand Okanagan Resort provides many amenities, including a spa, fitness complex, casino, restaurants, and an indoor/outdoor swimming pool. The suites are next to Okanagan Lake, and offer views of the lagoon or lovely courtyard. The resort is located in downtown Kelowna’s prestigious cultural district, which has many fine dining facilities, boutique shopping, art galleries, and movie theaters. Just a short drive away, visitors can enjoy activities such as golf, skiing, and tennis. The area has over 20 fine estate wineries.

This is a gorgeous resort and perfect for wine lovers plus there’s a casino on site!  There was a 2 bedroom residence with a full kitchen available from Dec. 9 – 16 for only 44,625 points!!  Take a look at the blog called “Club Interval Gold Points” to see the point values for a one bedroom lock-off at Sunrise Ridge Waterfront Resort.  By simply depositing Wk. 41 (Oct. 11) and Wk. 48 (Nov. 29) in the Guest Suite only the owner would have had 53,625 points in their account.  The A side would remain theirs for use or rental (or more points if there were other destinations they wanted to explore).

Here’s the Search menu on the Interval website (intervalworld.com).  Choose “Search All Destinations” rather than picking a specific location.  Choose a range of dates for the best results.  Here I chose November 2 to December 14, 2012 (I did this on Oct. 20 to illustrate that you don’t have to plan years ahead).  This exercise is fun and doesn’t cost a thing (unless you find something you can’t resist).
